HOW TO IDENTIFY FAKE MARY KAY PRODUCTS

Hello everyone,
Recently, i was at a big makeup store in my area with a friend and i asked for a black mary kay mascara. The store attendant brought different pieces of black mary kay mascara out and told me to pick anyone, i picked out 3 and looked closely. I finally picked one. Then my girl friend asked me why i took so long when everything was obviously the same. I smile and showed her 3 significant difference between the 3 of the same mascara. Here are tips on how to identify a genuine mary kay product.

A fake mary kay foundation, SMELLS! And it is not just the foundations but powders as well and when applied to the skin, it causes irritation, burn and itching.
Here is how to spot the difference:

If you are not observant the package will look the same, but it is not. Original Mary Kay package comes in a lighter shade of pink, while the fake looks dirty.

Mary Kay product package is known for its pink bar; if you look at the FAKE ON THE LEFT, you will notice that the pink bar is a shade darker than the ORIGINAL ON THE RIGHT. Did you notice that the product name and code – I mean the “bronze” name and code are written in thicker, bold ink on the ORIGINAL PACK in comparison with the FAKE WHICH IS WRITTEN IN LIGHT PRINTS?

EVEN THOUGH NEW, FAKE MARY KAY FOUNDATION BLEEDS

As usual, the shade of the pink used in package is different, the words are printed differently, the pink bar are of different shades and the foundation shade number and code are printed differently as well.

I recommend that before you buy any Mary Kay product, insist that the product is tested on you first. Once applied on your skin, don’t pay for it yet, remain in the store and while away time by window shopping (just look for some excuse to wait for 10 minutes ) because the foundation starts to itch about ten minutes after application.
Its very important to identify and use original products on your skin. A lot of ladies experience skin burns because of their constant application of fake products. Our skin is our pride so its important we take good care of it.
Please note: Some stores mix their fake and original products and sell all at the same price, it is left for you to  know which is which. I really hope this helps in creating more awareness about identification of fake and original mary kay products.
