PWEETY FIKAYO!!!

Hello ladies, recently I met pweety Fikayo through a friend on bbm and asked her if she could meet me up to have a bridal photo shoot, surprisingly she said yes and we fixed a date. Fikayo my cool and easy going beautiful model made working on her so delightful for me. And I have no doubt she will make a wonderful bride when the time comes.

Looking at the picture I know you can't wait to know the products I used and what I did to achieve this look......okay this is it.......
  • The first step I took was to prim her face with Avon magix face perfector, then I applied a mixture of Marykay 607 and 808 foundation on her face, with more concentration on her spots after which I applied powder (Milani deep).
  • The next thing I did was to draw her brows with Jondana easyliner (coffee bean) and used Marykay brow gel to keep them in place.
  • For the eye lids, I started by priming her lids with Tara shadow base to allow the eye shadow last longer.
  • Using my eye shadow brush I started with a deep shade of peach from Miss rose pallet followed by a light shade of orange from Sleek and I contoured with a mixture of deep blue and black from Miss rose pallet.
  • I used Sleek twist up (midnight) to define her eyes and to deepen her inner eye rim and I applied VOV fashion (A07) to add volume to her lashes.
  • I achieved this lips with just two things...I applied L.A GIRL TRUE LOVE all over her lips and finished with a lip gloss.
  • I contoured her face and highlighted the bridge of her nose and her cheek bone using sleek contour kit and I rounded up with a purple blush from Tara blush pallet.
  • ... and blended all together with Milani powder.

Simply beautiful...I would like to appreciate Fikayo for taking time out to make this possible. God bless you dear.

MAKEUP IS ART!!!

Makeup is art. Every face is a blank canvas and every brush stroke creates something magical. The look i'm about to share is quite different from the usual....
Inspired by her hair style and the neck piece she was wearing, I picked up my brushes, one after the other, till I arrived at this look.
For the eyes... I applied the monochromatic colour scheme, using different shades and tints of green in my eye shadow pallet from the inner corner of her eye lids to the outer corner and for her crease I used the shades and tints of brown. I highlighted her brow bone with a white eye shadow and drew the dotted lines with sleek twist up (midnight)

.... and for the lips I used a mixture of Davis green, grey and purple respectively, and finished it up with my Victoria secret lip gloss.
So colourful........

AWESOME FASHION LOOK!!!

Hi everyone, i'm so excited about the look i'm about to share with you. You know trying something new at times could be fun. I got scared of being monotonous so I decided to try my hands on a unique and different look.
To achieve this look, I used almost everything in sight and  for the eyes I applied almost all the colours in my eye shadow pallet, after all there are no rules in fashion makeup.
For the lips, I used Davis black eye pencil and Beauty rush eye -22... YES! black... as I said earlier, no rules in fashion makeup.
....and your guess is right its a SPONGE lol! told you I used everything in sight, its my creative mind at work and I love it. wink#
All it takes is creativity!!! don't be monotonous try something different for fun. Note: for FUN, its a typical fashion look.

FABULOUS BUKKY!!!

Hello ladies, This was one of my favorite looks last week, and I just thought sharing it with you would be awesome.... below is a detailed list of the products I used...
The first thing I did was to prim her face with Avon magix face perfector, followed by a mixture of Marykay 507 and 607 foundation. I concentrated more on her under eye area and her lids using my foundation brush to blend the foundation in properly, then I applied my powder (milani warm).

EYES

  • I used  Mac spiked eyebrow pencil to fill in her eye brows and then used a moisturizer as a base for the eye shadow.
  •  I started with a mixture of yellow and gold eye shadow from Miss rose eye shadow pallet, followed by the mixture of three shades of purple from the same pallet and contoured her eyes with a deep wine shadow from Miss rose pallet.
  • I used a gold eye shadow to highlight her brow bone and finished with a coffee brown eye shadow from Miss rose eye shadow pallet to deepen her crease.
  • I made sure all the colours were well blended by using my blending brush. And finally for the eye region, I used Vov fashion lashes (A06) to add volume to her lashes.

LIPS
  •  I moisturized her lips with Sleek lip moisturizer and lined it with Zaron lip liner pencil (fussy fusha), followed by Tara orekelewa ( inyanga) in her inner lips and finished with L.A girl (true love).
  • Finally, I contoured her face using a dark sleek powder (woodsmoke) followed by Tara blush from the blush pallet and blended it in with my Tara powder. I highlighted her cheek bone and the bridge of her nose with black radiance bronzer.

It is as simple as it looks, you should give it a try whenever you are free. Thank you all for your time, I love you all.

GORGEOUS!!! rose hip

Hi everyone, Its beautiful to be here once again. To be candid i have'nt been finding things easy out there, part of the reasons i have not been regular here.
I just thought to share Damilola's look with you all. Talk about a soft, light and flawless skin, she's got it all. she's someone i know does not joke with her skin, she said to me 'missy, please do not make me look darker and could not stop looking at mirror after each step...lol! she was calm and kept on smiling to herself through the mirror. i must confess working on her face was a wonderful experience and the out come was gorgeous. Below are the things i used in achieving this look...

step 1: I primed her face with Avon magix face perfector.
step 2: I applied Marykay 507 foundation, followed by powder ( Milani medium).
step 3: I used Jondana retractable pencil (coffee bean) to draw her eye brows and used Milani secret cover (tan chamois) to define the brow.
step 4: I used a lip balm to prim the crease of her eyes and started with Miss rose gold eye shadow, followed by a mixture of Miss rose wine and pink eye shadow and contoured with Sleek black eye shadow.
Step 5: I applied a dark brow eye shadow from a random pallet to her crease and highlighted her brow bone with a bit of gold eye shadow from the sleek eye shadow pallet.
step 6: I used sleek twist up pencil ( midnight) to define her eyes and also to line her inner eye rim.
step 7: I used Vov fashion lashes (A06) to add volume to her lashes.
step 8: I lined her lips using a red lip liner (Tara) and blended it in with my lip brush, then i applied Milani lipstick ( rose hip) in the inner lip and i finished with a pink Victoria secret lip gloss ( taffy go lucky) .
step 9: I contoured her face using the darkest color in Tara powder pallet, followed by a pink blush from Tara blush pallet.
step 10: I highlighted her cheek bone and the bridge of her nose with Tara bronzer.

This look is very simple to achieve, all it takes is determination and a step! Remember! makeup is all about your ability to blend well. Be patient and most importantly have fun with it.

PRIMER

Hello everyone,
Is your makeup literally melting off your face? Have you tried using a foundation primer before applying your foundation? Most laides do not know the importance of a foundation primer. The aim of  a primer is to prepare the skin for makeup application. They pamper the skin and create a long lasting, natural looking foundation application.
Primers are pretty cool. I am a big fan! they put a protective veil on the face that does 2 things; if you have a dry skin,it keeps your skin from absorbing the water out of your foundation. And secondly, if you have an oily skin, it will keeps your makeup from melting off or sliding off your face. It also fills in deeper pores and smooth out the texture of your skin so that it looks more even.
I would definitely recommend checking out foundation primers because of its unique ability to fill in lines and wrinkles. so ladies, try out a primer today and observe the improvement of your makeup on your skin.

HOW TO IDENTIFY FAKE MARY KAY PRODUCTS

Hello everyone,
Recently, i was at a big makeup store in my area with a friend and i asked for a black mary kay mascara. The store attendant brought different pieces of black mary kay mascara out and told me to pick anyone, i picked out 3 and looked closely. I finally picked one. Then my girl friend asked me why i took so long when everything was obviously the same. I smile and showed her 3 significant difference between the 3 of the same mascara. Here are tips on how to identify a genuine mary kay product.

A fake mary kay foundation, SMELLS! And it is not just the foundations but powders as well and when applied to the skin, it causes irritation, burn and itching.
Here is how to spot the difference:

If you are not observant the package will look the same, but it is not. Original Mary Kay package comes in a lighter shade of pink, while the fake looks dirty.

Mary Kay product package is known for its pink bar; if you look at the FAKE ON THE LEFT, you will notice that the pink bar is a shade darker than the ORIGINAL ON THE RIGHT. Did you notice that the product name and code – I mean the “bronze” name and code are written in thicker, bold ink on the ORIGINAL PACK in comparison with the FAKE WHICH IS WRITTEN IN LIGHT PRINTS?

EVEN THOUGH NEW, FAKE MARY KAY FOUNDATION BLEEDS

ORIGINAL MARY KAY FOUNDATION

ORIGINAL MARY KAY FOUNDATION. ONCE AGAIN, THE PINK BAR IS A SHADE LIGHTER. Please compare.

As usual, the shade of the pink used in package is different, the words are printed differently, the pink bar are of different shades and the foundation shade number and code are printed differently as well.

I recommend that before you buy any Mary Kay product, insist that the product is tested on you first. Once applied on your skin, don’t pay for it yet, remain in the store and while away time by window shopping (just look for some excuse to wait for 10 minutes ) because the foundation starts to itch about ten minutes after application.
Its very important to identify and use original products on your skin. A lot of ladies experience skin burns because of their constant application of fake products. Our skin is our pride so its important we take good care of it.
Please note: Some stores mix their fake and original products and sell all at the same price, it is left for you to  know which is which. I really hope this helps in creating more awareness about identification of fake and original mary kay products.
Remember to invite yours friends to this link, you might just be helping a friend in need.
THE POWER OF A PERFECTLY GROOMED EYEBROW

Hi guys, hope you all had a splendid night? As for me it was cold and lovely. Today i'm going to be talking about the importance of the eyebrow. A lot of people do not know that eyebrows do more than just add expression to our faces.
I've looked around and noticed that a lot of ladies pay little or no attention to their eyebrow, some leave it bushy, some don't mind taking it all off and then using a black or red liner to draw any shape they feel like.
whether pencil thin or dramatically dark, the power of a perfectly shaped eyebrow can make a major statement on your face, but a single pluck could turn an A-list worthy brow into a D-list disaster. well-arched, groomed brows play a role in balancing features like yours eyes, nose, forehead and the length of your face. good eyebrows make you look younger, fresher, better rested, sexier and more feminine, just as easily poorly-styled eyebrows can make you look angry, worried or surprised.
My advice for ladies who don't know how to go about getting their eyebrows perfectly shaped : Its helpful to get input from a professional. Find someone in your area who specializes in brow design, ask if they have had specialized brow shaping training because not all stylists and aestheticians do everything well so do not be afraid to ask lots of questions before they touch your brows. remember, if they don't do a great job, you will wear their mistake on your face.
I look forward to seeing more ladies pay great attention to their brows. meanwhile stick around for tips on how to get a perfectly groomed eyebrows done by yourself. thanks for coming into my world. have a great day and love u guys. wink.
